Dinner with my cousin, Anna, last night 
I was SO looking forward to seeing her, especially because… I haven’t seen her in 20 (yep, TWENTY) years!
So much catching up to do… in so little time! So we decided to conduct this most important year-by-year replay at The Buffet in the Las Vegas Hilton Hotel.
Joshua started right off with the Good Stuff… spaghetti with alfredo sauce Simple, but, it makes my kid and his tummy sooooo very happy! (He had a plate of sushi with this too… but, I cannot find it for the life of me!! Gaaaahhhh!!)
I fixed myself a plate of SALAD (good girl!!)… with an extra helping of crumbled hard cooked eggs, shredded parmesan cheese, and creamy salad dressing… which is the only way to have a salad in my book. But, I promise you, there are lettuce leaves somewhere under all of that yummy goodness.
My son made his pasta look like it was the most delicious thing
to dance on his taste buds, so I had a plate prepared for me as well…
spaghetti with shrimp and garlic, topped with alfedo sauce…
Meanwhile, JRoc fixed himself one of his favorite desserts…
chocolate/vanilla swirl soft serve topped with M&Ms and chocolate sauce…. 
What did I have for dessert? Well, the salad and pasta did a great job
stuffing my tummy, so… I practiced self-control and only selected a little bit of this and a little bit of that :)
It was sooo great seeing my adorable cousin… introducing her to my baby boy… and catching up a bit while enjoying really good food! She’s a foodie, just like me… and it was funny how we were both taking pix of whatever we were eating. Lol!
It’s in our blood, I guess
